BANGALORE VISIT We two started on 2nd MARCH 2018 Friday morning by Double Decker Train to Bangalore. We got down at Cantt station where Ashok was waiting for us with his car. We reached home by 2PM. On 3rd March, we went to Whitefield with Ashok and Neeraja for seeing houses. Went to GV Kumar's house and chatted with Kamala chithti. 5th March MONDAY. Upanayanam of Aswatha Narayanan's grandson at RagiGudda koil. Vittalachar, his daughter Madhavi were there and we had a long talk with MVV. After lunch we returned home by 2 PM 8th March :: I fell ill. It continued till 27th March !! 10 March -- Srividya, Pasupati came. 11 March -- Krishnaraj, Gayatri came 18 March -- UGADI.  Rs 3700 sent to Bhaskar for Rama Navami 19 March -- TRVG and Saraswathi came and handed over the invite for marriage of HARI 20 March -- Dandapani Mama expired at Mumbai. 26 March -- Dresses for SS, AA purchased. 28 March -- NEW CAR VERNA PURCHASED BY ASHOK. 29...

We two left Chennai on Saturday, 29 Oct 2011, 1140 AM, for Bangalore. With Ashok, and Neeraja in their Ford Figo car. It was our first travel to Bangalore in car. It was a bit sunny and bright till we reached Kanchipuram junction (1-30PM); however, once we travelled 1 km ahead, it started pouring - very heavy rain, torrential. Rains continued, no abatement, till we reached Krishnagiri. We reached house at Bangalore by 7 PM. Car travel was most enjoyable. 30 Oct 2011 - Sunday We went to Meenakshi Mall, one km away from Ashok's house. A huge mall on 4 floors. Ashok purchased lots of things. 01 Nov 2011 - Tuesday. At 9 AM we left for City station from where we boarded the Shatabdi Express at 1100 for Mysore. Ramani also came with us. Read about our Mysore trip in detail in a seperate post. Ashok's Left Ankle Surgery and After. Earlier I had covered upto Feb 19th when the doctor told the review would be taken after a month on March 19th. Thursday, March 19, 2009 . For the past 50 days since the accident on 29 Jan , Ashok was hobbling around with his one good leg. Today was the review day, and we started from house by 4-30PM for the doctor. With prayers on every one's lips, we met the doctor (Dr BS Jayaram at Sri Krishna Hospital, Banashankari 2nd Stage, Bangalore 70 Tel: 2671 1212, 2671 1113). Mr Ramasubramaniam, Neeraja's father was already present there. An Xray was taken, and after a suspense- and tension-filled 20 minutes, the doctor reviewed the xray and declared Ashok as completely cured. "Throw away the walker, Ashok, you can start walking normally", said the doctor. Our relief was great. Thank you, God. We returned the walker and then came back home. ASHOK's LEFT ANKLE fractured, Surgery Ashok met with an accident on the noon of Thursday, the 29 January 2009 . While he was riding his scooter on his way to an eye doctor, a car collided with the scooter in BTM Layout, Bangalore. His left ankle got swollen and after first aid in a nearby doctor's place, he was taken to an orthopaedist Dr BS JAYARAM in Banashankari. This doctor is known to Mr. Ramasubramaniam (Neeraja's father). After xray and checkup, the doctor put a Plaster of Paris cast over the leg and advised review after 10 days. If the fracture doesn't closeup, a minor surgery might be needed, he warned. Ashok informed us at 2 PM on the same (29th) afternoon and Vijaya and I started on 4th Feb 2009 (Wednesday) early morning. As we had to go to Vaitheeswaran Koil for mudi irakkuthal for Sriram, we couldn't start earlier. We two, Ashok and Neeraja went to Vaithisvaran Koil during March 2007. Earlier, we went to this koil on 23 February 2007 for the Mudi Irakkuthal for Sowmya and Aditi. Ashok and Neeraja couldn't join us then. So this visit. We four left Chennai on Saturday, 17 March 2007 , by Rockfort Express for Kumbakonam. Reaching KBK by 0720 the next morning (18th) we took a room there (Rs 250.00) After bath and breakfast, we hired a taxi for Rs 1300.00 to go to Vaithisvaran Koil and other places. We left KBK by 0915 and went to V Koil. Good darshan of Vaithiyanatha Swami. Archanais to all five deities there. Then went to Suriyana Koil (Sun God). And then to Sukranar Koil at Kanjanur. Then we returned to KBK by 2PM and had lunch. At 3-15 PM, after lunch, we proceeded to Karugavur and worshipped at Sri Garbha Raskshambikai Amman. There Ashok-Neeraja performed the படி மெழுகுதல் with ghee. From there, we proceeded to Pattiswaran Koil and then back to the hotel by 6-45 PM. Our return train was...
