Vasu has been in the lookout for a suitable alliance for his daughter SRUTI since June-July 2015. An alliance from Madipakkam, Chennai came, the horoscopes matched. Talks also were fruitful and it was agreed that the "girl-seeing ceremony" will be held in Chennai on Wednesday, 28th October 2015. The great hitch was they insisted on a Chennai Marriage (not at Delhi) We were to convince them for a Delhi marriage. Will they agree ..? Vasu, Raji arrived in our house on 28th by 9-30 AM from Hyderabad (where they had attended a marriage). Ramaa and Satyamurthy also came with them. Sruti had come earlier by flight from Delhi. The groom's party - the groom Sri ARAVIND (27), his parents Sri Sundaram and Smt Chandra, his akka - athimber came from Madipakkam by 5 PM. We had arranged snacks with the caterer Srinivasan. Sugavanam also came by 3 PM. After seeing SRUTI they accepted the alliance. Kesari, Bonda, Kichchadi, Sevai were served. I put up strong arguments, discuss...

We two went to Ooty and Coimbatore from Apr 27th to May 2nd for SATISH marriage with APARNAH SREE. We left by the 07:15 AM Shatabdi express from Chennai. Sowmya also came with us. We took an OLA cab to the station. The train reached CBE by 2-15 PM and we took another OLA cab to வெள்ளைக்கிணறு பிரிவு where Gopalan came and took us in car to his home. After rest etc, we all went for a walk. Sowmya took the dog Buddy for the walk. We slept in Gopalan's house. 28-04-2015 Tuesday : Arun, Gayathri, and Sriram arrived in CBE ? Gopalan's house by 7 AM. After bath and breakfast we all left by bus for Ooty by bus. Reached Ooty at 2 PM, after 3 1/2 hours' travel. Reached the KSTDC hotel. Ashok and Neeraja came to that hotel from Mysore at 3 PM. In the evening we all went to the Botanical Gardens and walked for a long time. Coming out of it by 5:30 PM we had coffee and started searching for the Delhi Group. We two started for Secunderabad by 6-10 PM Charminar Express on Thursday 29th Jan 2015. Went to the station in Arun's car with Gayathri and Sriram. We took puliyodharai and thayir saadam for night. The train reached Secunderabad 3 hours late. Satyamurthy received us and took us home in a taxi. Rama's house is large and good. (Srikanth is the owner). Sridhar and Abhilash had already come. On 31st Jan, our 44th wedding-day , we celebrated it at RC Puram. Today most of the Delhi-relatives arrived by different flights. Rama and family, Vasu and family, Sridhar and family, Usha and family, Bama and Vaitheesh, Ravi (only) came. Ashok came from Bangalore. We presented a lamp, a Stotra book, Kumkum and manjal powder to all the 7 daughters/ daughters-in-law, Sathya, Subha and the 10th to Neeraja.  Santosh had arranged breakfast and a tasty Hyderabadi-Biriyani from Paradise hotel. RAMA, Satyamoorthy, Santosh, and Satya arrived in our house from Hyderabad on 1st November 2014. We two joined them to go to Coimbatore to see a girl for Satish. All 7 of us left by Cheran Express 10.15 PM. The train reached Coimbatore by 6.45 AM 2nd Nov. The girl's father had booked two AC rooms at a hotel Legends' Inn just opposite to Station. After bath and breakfast, all of us left for the girl's house at Gandhinagar. APARNAH SREE is the daughter of Ramesh - Kanchana. Kanchana is the younger sister of Shobana. All of us liked the girl and it was just a formality. We had lunch there and after chatting with them for a while, we returned to the hotel. Rama and others left for Hyderabad by 4 PM train.  We two went to Gopalan's house in an auto and spent time with them. Dinner there and returned to the hotel. We left in the morning (3rd) for Chennai. The marriage will be on 1st May, 2015 Friday at Coimbatore. Rajappa 4-11-2014
